Bio

Rob Eichelbaum is a second generation attorney born and raised in San Antonio.  He began his practice in partnershipheadshot with his father, forming Eichelbaum Law Office.  He has served as Managing Attorney and “of Counsel” to several prestigious law firms located in San Antonio.  Prior to launching Eichelbaum Mediation Services, his practice consisted primarily of family law, bankruptcy, consumer litigation, estate planning, probate, personal injury, and elder law.

Since 1997, Rob has served as an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary’s University School of Law, teaching courses in Negotiations and Alternative Dispute Resolution. In 2005, Rob Eichelbaum created the first Family Law Mediation course to be taught and accredited at an ABA recognized Law School in the State of Texas.

Rob Eichelbaum is a frequent lecturer at State Bar and local CLE programs. He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. Since 2007, Rob has been annually distinguished as one of San Antonio’s Best Lawyers, according to Scene in SA Magazine’s Annual Best Lawyer Survey. In 2012, Rob was also recognized as one of Texas’ Super Lawyers by Texas Monthly Magazine.

Rob is married to Jennifer, a special education teacher, and they have two children.  Rob enjoys giving back to his hometown community by teaching Religious School, working with High School youth, and creating the “You Can / We Will” project.   This program provided over 250 free Wills and Estate Planning documents in exchange for charitable donations that benefitted Child Advocates of San Antonio and the San Antonio Food Bank.  Some of his other interests include traveling, reading, playing poker, white water rafting and hiking.
